Sonic Motor Racing Services main man Michael Ritter is not known for mincing words, and this week he’s come right out and said it…his boys need to perform!
“I’m expecting a big performance from all three of our guys,” he says with resolve,” this is a critical point in the Championship and to be fair I don’t think we’ve performed well enough so far this year to be happy. There’s a lot of work to do and it has to start this weekend.”
Geoff Uhrhane competed at Hidden Valley last year but didn’t come away from the weekend with the results he was hoping for.
“Geoff has track time around Hidden Valley and so does Nick Foster when he ran his own car two years ago but Ryan (Simpson) comes into the event with a clean slate,” says Ritter.
So coming into the fourth round of the 2010 Australian Formula Ford Championship this weekend Michael Ritter is aiming seriously at improving in all facets with his trio of youngsters.
“It’s time,” he says, “to get the job done and come away from Darwin with the right results.”
Currently the points table sees the following results for Sonic drivers Uhrhane, Foster and Simpson.
Nick Foster, 97 (second place)
Geoff Uhrhane, 73 (fourth place)
Ryan Simpson, 64 (sixth place)
